SUMMER PROJECT COMPETITION (SPC)

Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, in its endeavour to enhance the research attitude and aptitude in post graduate management students of the country, is conducting a summer training project competition. The competition is aimed at assessing the research temperament of the students along with report writing and presentation skills.

GUIDELINES

v     The competition is divided into two phases.

v     In the first phase the participants are required to submit a written summer project report along with nomination for registration.

v     In the second phase shortlisted participants will be called for presentation.

v     The experts in the field would evaluate the written and oral presentation.

v     The decision of the panel of judges will be final and binding.

ELIGIBILITY

v     Students pursuing their post graduate management degree from AICTE approved/affiliated institutions of India, who have completed their summer training in 2009.

v     No registration fee is charged from the participants.

v     Maximum two students can form a team

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

v     Last date for registration and submitting written summer project report: 25th  Feb. 2010

v     Result of selected participants for presentation: 6th  March 2010

v     Presentation by selected participants: 18nd  March 2010

I Prize Rs. 3000/-  ; II Prize Rs. 2000/-

III Prize Rs. 1000/-

Last Date:

25th February 2010.

The Hard copy of summer project report must be submitted by 25th Feb. 2010,  superscripting the envelope “Entry for Summer Project Competition” to:

Soft copy of the summer project Report in word file be emailed to:

The participants will have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging, however assistance for accommodation may be provided with prior request.
